Pic-Tale ("the app") is a casual drawing-and-guessing game for Android and iOS, developed by LuxVelox Media and Technologies Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how it's handled.

Information we collect

Pic-Tale does not require an account, email address, or password. To play, the app collects only:

• A display name you choose. Typed in by you before creating or joining a game room, shown to other players in that room. It's stored on your device (so you don't have to retype it next time) and, while you're in a room, on our server so other players can see it.
• An anonymous device session ID. The app creates a random, anonymous identifier for your device via our backend provider (Supabase) so the server can tell which moves and messages came from which player during a game. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other real-world identity.
• Gameplay data. While a game is in progress: the room code, drawing strokes, chat guesses you type, and scores. This data exists only to run the live game and is shared with the other players in your room in real time.

What we don't collect

Pic-Tale does not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs of any kind. We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any device identifiers beyond the anonymous session ID above. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long data is kept

Game rooms and their associated drawings, chat guesses, and scores are temporary and are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity. Your chosen display name is kept on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.

Third-party service providers

Pic-Tale uses Supabase to host its backend database and real-time game sync. Supabase processes the data described above on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. See Supabase's privacy policy for details on their infrastructure.

Children's privacy

Pic-Tale is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can leave a game room at any time, which removes your device from that room's live session. To request deletion of any data associated with your device, contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
