No. Just open the app, type a display name, and create or join a room with a 4-letter code. Nothing is stored beyond your device and the game itself.
Double check the 4-letter room code (it's case-insensitive). Rooms are closed automatically after a period of inactivity, so make sure the game hasn't already ended or timed out.
